Any condition that lasts for more than 1 year and often needs ongoing drugs and or surgery, even then considered “incurable”. They can rob you of your independence, even activities of daily living like walking may become difficult or impossible.
Chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes are the leading causes of death in the United States. They also make up one-third of total health care costs in the US.
By downloading the ChiroWebMD mobile app you can better control your patient portal.
($4.1 Trillion in 2020 according to Centers for Medicare Services) $4,100,000,000,000.
Up 10% from 2019’s $3,690,000,000,000 for comparison.
So, to put it in perspective, unprecedented global killer virus $410 Billion. 5% Deadly.
Chronic diseases $1 Trillion EVERY YEAR! 90% Deadly.
You don't have to be a math wizard to see the media misdirection here.
Six out of ten seniors have at least one chronic disease and four out of ten have more than two chronic conditions that need constant, ongoing medical treatment.
Even if that treatment comes in a convenient handful of pills.
Voting on who pays for this broken, corrupt money pit remains a key point of every election campaign for the past 40 years. And when laws get made, the corporations making the TRILLIONS of dollars decide what’s best for them, not us.
Chronic diseases are difficult to treat and manage because they require ongoing care for a long time. Conventional treatment options including medicine, surgery, and support services are considered too expensive and ineffective by most insurance companies.
Placing the financial burden on the patient and their family.
We can expect no good change to come from either political party because the problem is bigger than both of them. So, instead we watch a carefully orchestrated show every two to four years that divides and conquers rational thought on both sides. Totally distracting (nearly) everyone from what is really going on.
So, whether we want change or not, change is coming. And you can choose to be a defenseless victim or start protecting yourself and those you care for.
Because when chronic disease is caught early enough, it might not cause permanent costly damage. And over 80% of chronic diseases can be prevented altogether with a short list of better life choices. Instead of the obscenely expensive, ineffective model of crisis management sold to us as “healthcare”. Something to think about.
Introducing RESN8© for Better Health(resonate: to affect in a personally important way)
Two actions in four basic health principles to improve health, live better, with less pain, maybe even live longer too. Eight simple steps to the good life.
R is for Rest
1-We need to sleep for 8 hours every night. But most of us don’t.
2-So prioritize sleep between 10pm and 2am because that is when you get the most restorative sleep.
E is for Exercise
3-We need moderate exercise for 30 minutes a day. Most of us don’t do that either.
4-But you can do 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute of body weight resistance, or 3 minutes of balance or stretch every hour. Anywhere, anytime without any excuses.
(do not attempt balance exercises alone)
S is for Stress Management
5-You can pray, meditate or use my checklist of things to focus on instead of letting someone else control your thoughts. So, your own list will help you more in the areas that you need the most refocusing. Here’s my list of who and how I want to be:
“Outrageously enthusiastic and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of as many as possible. With understanding, respect, support, and agreement, acknowledging their significance with certainty and love, I share with avalanches of abundance.”
6-A lifetime of self-improvement studies revealed the Upper Cervical Chiropractic Adjustment as providing the best health value. It can instantly improve whole body Alignment, Balance and Coordination. It also relieves pain and relaxes tension. There is nothing that compares to the return on investment with this treatment at any price.
N is for Nutrition
7-If you are not a fan of plant-based nutrition, you may change your mind soon. Even devoted meat eaters get most of their nutrition from plants. And nearly everyone could use some help to make better choices that reduce inflammation.
8- Most people take supplements. But not all of them are the same. Some supplements are a waste of money and can go right through you, down the toilet. But if you know what to do, you can take only high-quality supplements that work better, and maybe, save money too.
